Momentum is a cycling brand reshaping our daily journeys and inspiring alternative travel through a range of stylish and practical electric bikes. With a number of new models being launched into the range, the brand entrusted us with directing and producing both photography and film, as well as building a launch campaign to unveil to customers.

Our mission centred on capturing the experience of riding a Momentum rather than simply highlighting features. We began by translating the separate bikes into individual rider stories – giving each product a tangible narrative for consumers to relate to. From whimsical city flower deliveries on the utility Pakyak to moments of architectural exploration on the city Voya, our stories represented the essence of urban living.

Follow a quirky florist as she navigates the streets, delivering bursts of florals to eager customers and showcasing the bike’s practicality for small business owners.

Rider Journey Storyboarding

Our storytelling focussed on a full understanding of the product features and how we could translate these into moments within a compelling narrative. Whether it was capturing the versatility of the Pakyak through a four-legged friend or illustrating the Voya’s agility by sweeping through the city streets – each story delivered an outline of the product through visual cues.

Both these key moments and the overall tone of each video helped to deliver the rational appeal of the product through an emotional lens which resonated with Momentum’s audience.

Rolling with The City

Behind the scenes, our production crew put on roller skates, gliding through the city streets to capture smooth and immersive shots of our riders in motion. This approach allowed us to intimately follow the characters, providing an engaging and dynamic perspective on their journeys.

Throughout the production process, our clients had the opportunity to witness the content being captured live, providing valuable input and feedback in real-time. This collaborative approach ensured that the client’s vision and expectations were consistently aligned with the creative direction of the shoot.

Campaigns

The captivating content we captured became the cornerstone of Momentum’s larger brand campaigns, serving as a dynamic and versatile foundation for various marketing initiatives. From social media posts that engaged with audiences on a personal level to digital advertising campaigns that reached a broader demographic, our content was strategically deployed across multiple platforms to maximise brand visibility and engagement.
